Positive: Our ‘stable loft’ reflected the very thoughtful design of a genuinely relaxing and rewarding overall experience. The owners have created a property that has character galore and reflects genuine personality in much of the detailing. The garden design is delightful and its maintenance is also to exceptional standards. Overall, the property is series of lovely comforts and discoveries in and around the buildings.

Negative: To be really picky the bathroom could do with a touch more hanging / surface space for your clothes.

Summary: It seduced us away from one of our planned day trips and became a destination in its own right

Positive: Gorgeous property and the loft was amazing, thoughtful design and very comfortable (comfy bed!)

Negative: While we loved everything about our stay, the location made access to cafes and shops a little challenging, especially with many places closed on certain days. One small suggestion would be to provide a small milk (even a UHT) in the fridge for convenience, especially if you arrive late, as there’s nowhere nearby to buy it without driving.

Positive: We loved everything ! The property setting is charming, historically beautiful and all the modern inclusions that make accomodation comfortable. All set in a stunning garden.

Negative: Unfortunately the only restaurant in the area is the Carrick Inn Pub. We ate there both nights because there was nowhere else but the food was very disappointing to say the least and after great reviews. ???
